New Cessnas for pilot training
In october 2009 four new Cessnas came into the LGM fleet for the pilot training.
The police of the Netherlands sent police officers for helicopter pilot training
Three police officers from the Netherlands police completed their CPL(H) / IFR training with success at LGM.
Bachelor degree in Aviation Business: LGM takes over the aviation training
Since 2008 the LGM flighttraining organization has a co-operation with the University for Engineering and Management in Saarbrücken. Within the Bachelor degree programm „Aviation Business – Piloting and Airline Management“ the students also acquire the Airline Transport Pilot Licence. The practical flight training is performed by LGM. In parts the flight training will take place in Arizona/USA. Flight Navigation and Procedure Trainer
In 2007 LGM received the authorization from the German Aviation Authority to operate a FNPT II (Flight Navigation and Procedure Trainer) for helicopters. The first in Germany. For more details see the article (in german language).

Our CHPL courses can be accomplished immediately also in English language!
Aerobatics at LGM
Since end of 2006 we use an airplane certified for aerobatics, super a Decathlon, into our ATPL(A) training also. Our flying students are instructed in such a way into the procedures with uncommon flight conditions (unusual attitudes). Of course we offer also the pure aerobatics training for owners of PPL/CPL/ATPL licenses.
