If you find helicopter flight just as exciting as we do, then training to become a helicopter pilot is right up your street. Future areas of operation are numerous: Varied and fascinating projects await you. You will require between 4 and 5 months to complete the private helicopter pilot training course, and approximately eighteen months to complete the professional helicopter pilot training.
During this time, you will practice in a Schweizer 300, EC 120, Robinson R22 and Robinson R44 helicopter. Our helicopters, like our aeroplanes, are also serviced in-house, therefore guaranteeing safety that pays.
In 2007 LGM received the authorization from the German Aviation Authority to operate a FNPT II (Flight Navigation and Procedure Trainer) for helicopters. The first in Germany. Here you can train the instrumental rating IFR-H. For more details see the article (in german language). IFR-H
